Hub assembly came apart going approx. 50 mph, in traffic.
1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I installed this Moog hub assembly on my 2001 F150. Drove it approximately 10 miles. The assembly separated and my truck hit the pavement going 50 mph. The tire went flying into oncoming traffic. The brake rotor, caliper, and lug studs were still connected to the tire. The base of the assembly was still attached to the truck. As a result, my fender was destroyed, and my lower ball joint was scrubbed almost off the truck. I had to call a tow truck, obviously, and I will be missing a very important job tomorrow because of the incident. I have bought many Moog parts in the past, but this is the last I will ever buy. That could have been so much worse, as I was traveling on a busy major highway. Thank God no one but the truck was hurt.
