Great talking clock for a blind 99 year-old mother
Bought two of these over the last six months. Both worked with simple instructions. Upon pressing the top of the clock, a pleasant voice announces the date, time and room temperature. You can set to auto announce every hour or from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Mom Love's it and takes one whenever she travels.

Not worth the money
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Bought this for my 101 year-old mother. Echo Dot used a bluetooth speaker (Bose) and whenever the Echo Connect was used, the Echo Dot disconnected and used the Connect bluetooth and the Connects's tiny speaker. Too low, too limited in my opinion. It and the echo dot were connected to the internet - assumed they would use the shared internet connection.

Vert good sine-wave UPS
Works as advertised, The Powerchute software is great! Can actually see how long current load will be supplied, can manage the shutdown (although it does not force a "normal" shutdown on the PC, just manages when it will shut off power). Should be fairly easy for developer to include a shutdown script / .bat file to run prior to shutdown).
