Great multi age project!

I should say at the outset that I am 73 years old and have never made anything from Legos. The Clubhouse was purchased for my grandsons, who visit often, ages 6 - 10. The intent was for them to build it while at my house as a fun activity. Since the age range for the build was 18+, it seemed to make sense to begin the project myself so I could help them if necessary. I started with section 2 and enjoyed it so much I had to force myself to stop at the end of that stage. TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!! It was super as a multi age project. The 6 year old was able to do stage 1 almost entirely by himself. He needed just a little help with attaching a couple of the smaller pieces. The older boys worked together and completed sections 3 and 4 in about 1 1/2 hours with no help from me other than crowd control. (They are little boys, after all.) I finished up section 5 after they left and could not be happier. The little house is adorable! It has cute working parts and even a light that you can turn on. I have put the completed project in a box for now but will bring it out again after Thanksgiving. I am sure this will be a perennial favorite for many Christmases to come. Great Job Lego!!!
