More than a Cold remedy
I have used this product for a number of years. It works well for minor skin irritations. My skin is on the dry side. I heard about using this ointment for skin problems on a Senior talk show.
The down side is - the ointment does stain socks and underclothes, over time.
Despite this one nuisance, I strongly recommend Vapo Rub for minor skin problems.

Healthy older hair
Have been using this for about six years. Recommended by my wife's hairdresser. I use it about every other day. I was using it more often, sometimes daily, but found out it made my hair too "heavy" at times. I am older, with thinning grey hair. This product has helped me to keep it looking good - not dried out.
