AlanFurst hero of France review
I thought I had read all of Alan Fursts work so I was delighted to find some recent publications. As I’ve loved everything he’s written I jumped to buy this book. Hero of France does not disappoint.
Only complaint is that it wasn’t longer. I think it might have been improved by letting the detective from Hamburg get a little closer.

Under occupation by Alan Furst review
I really enjoyed this book. I hope I don’t spoil anything for anyone. I didn’t know until I read this that once you joined the resistance you were in you had JOINED and had to undertake the missions assigned to you and could not say no.
The action and the characters were very compelling. This was not surprising to me because I’ve read everything he’s written since Night Soldiers. Great book by my favorite author. I hope he keeps writing more like this one
