IHC M9866 4-6-2 Semi Streamline Pacific L&N Steam Locomotive Engine, HO Scale

A semi-fantasy semi-streamlined pacific

Being a L&N fan this was like finding the Holy Grail. Keep in mind, as I mentioned in the title, this is a semi-fantasy scheme for the #275 L&N Pacific that pulled the South Wind. The real one had the full streamlined treatment and may have even had gold instead of the silver paint over PRR tuscan red. This might be a sticking point for purists or 'rivet-counters', but to me it's not an issue. This is one very beautiful locomotive, very well done. And considering the price, even more beautiful. It's IHC/Mehano drivetrain is simple and very reliable. A smooth, quiet runner. I highly recommend it.
