Epson 5040ube awesome
13 personnes sur 13 ont jugé cet avis utile. I’ve searched everywhere from retail to online to research and review various projectors and screens. I was torn between the new Sony 285 4K for $5k or the Epson 5040 for $2.6k (retail). I reviewed both projectors at two retail locations with an ALR screen which I wanted. My neighbor also had a 5030 with an ALR with a great picture. Here’s my personal take. The Sony running actual 4K is really nice but for the $2600k more from the Epson I personally couldn’t justify the cost difference. Plus the Epson has a high Lum specification in various image settings so if I need to brighten up a movie or sports event I have flexibility over the Sony. Finally the setup with various auto focus & shifts beat the Sony. I’m a fan of Sony products and if it was $1k more I would have considered it. Hands down I’d buy this unit again. Pair it with a solid ALR and you won’t be dissapointed. Image attached is with lights on and the lower lum setting.
