Surprisingly Bright and Well Made for the Price

This model is even brighter than the smaller model of the same design that uses a single AA battery. I don't know how long the three AAA batteries will last though. If you plan to take it back packing, bring plenty of AAA batteries with you. I would recommend that you apply a small amount of silicone grease to the threads at the base of the light where the end-cap is attached as well as to the O-ring in the head of the flashlight to enhance the moisture resistance. You will be amazed at the amount of light that this flashlight emits.
