As Good As Original Equipment
It's identical to the one that came with the pistol. The spring is strong, but not too strong. It feeds the rounds into the chamber very smoothly, and ejects easily when empty. I recommend this product for anyone who owns a Smith & Wesson Military & Police Shield 40.

"Looks good, but no flash"
The overall appearance of the product is excellent. I am pleased with the case that came with it as well as the instruction booklet. It was exactly as advertised. I have not yet been able to get it to work though. You see, along with this vintage flash device, the batteries were also vintage, and moderately corroded. I am trying to scrub out the battery area, but so far, have not been able to get the new batteries to make a connection. Sorry, I did not want to leave a negative review , but with the questions I was asked, I had no choice.
