Does not hold suction.

You have to constantly pump to keep suction. It doesn't hold on at all. Needs a one way valve with a release.

Might be better to use the sticks

The compacts are about the size of a silver dollar. the chalk flakes as soon as you use it. the foam pads on the inside are very easy to "pop out". I didn't even get to use my purple due to the glue that held the chalk in broke as soon as I opened the compact. they recommend you use a "primer" on your hair then after you have the chalk applied you have to use hairspray to set it. As soon as I applied the hairspray the colors faded to barely seen, even though I was able to see it perfectly and bright before. if you do use it. lightly dampen the hair, don't use aerosol hairspray use a pump spray, and don't use a lot of pressure on the compacts even though that is what it takes to add a vibrant color. use multiple swipes for accurate color.
