Perfect 2 player shooter
This game is a perfect 2 player shooter with a range of difficulties that like any good shooter become impossible to complete as you make the settings harder. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are nice and clean. The best feature of this game is what I would like to call a Ying Yang effect. Basically everything that you interact with (enemies, enemy fire, and your own ship) is either white or black. You can change your ship’s shade with a press of a button from black to white and back again. When you are white, you are immune to the white fire and visa versa when you are black. Enemies stay on one shade and fire the same as what they are (Black enemies fire black power shots and white enemies fire white power shots). Enemies take much more damage from the opposite shade. Your ship takes no damage from the same shade and it even becomes a positive as your ship charges for a special Charged shot from power shots of the same shade. Your ship is destroyed from just one power shot of an opposite shade. The Charged shot releases a quick bust of homing power shots. Some bosses have both shades and fire both shades requiring you to fire, evade and change shades in order to come out alive. This is another layer of game play that I have never witnessed in another game and is easily the most unique element of Ikaruga. Overall it is one of my most favorite shooters from a 1 player perspective (“Gradius Good”) and from a 2 player perspective it is my favorite.

Best SNES game most people have never heard of!
This game is amazing action packed mission based fun. It can get difficult for the 2nd half of the game but a classic in it's own right. VS. mode was cutting edge back in the snes era and is still a load of fun with a friend. The lack of save states is a double edged sword. On one hand you have to earn everything every time but on the other it makes for a difficult play now-a-day to set an hour or two aside without any interruptions. Enjoy!

Ren and Stimpy: Time Warp
Good 2 Player Super Nintendo Game. For Ren & Stimpy fans this might very well be the best super nintendo game. This would be an excellent game if it wasn't for the several glitches.
