Epson 1400, price, print quality, and ease of use.
When purchasing a printer I needed to buy one that would do a little larger prints while still being in the price range of a desktop printer. The Epson 1400 prints 13x17 which is the largest size I needed. I also needed an Epson because they accept the CIS (continual ink system) which allows me to save money on ink when I print in higher volume. The Epson 1400 is easy to print with and comes with a cartridge which lets you print directly on CD's and DVD's. While I don't have much need for that my kids thought is was great. The programs and printer is easy to use and there was no learning curve. The only drawback to the printer was when I needed to use special paper I had to feed it in one at a time. I will be looking for another printer in the next few months and will probably buy the same Epson 1400 due to price, print quality, and ease of use.
