It works
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Accuracy is reasonable, fairly simple to operate. Haven't found anything in it's price class that is comparable. LCD screen tends to scratch easily, recommend a clear type screen protector. Battery lasts a long time, charges pretty fast.

Decent recorder with some flaws

Simple copy functions, easy to make a DVD from VHS
DVD-RAM works like a hard drive, TiVo-like watch while recording
8VSB/QAM/NTSC Tuner
reasonably good HDMI upconversion
The Bad:
Tuner is quite slow to change channels.
Can't record DVD to VHS unless it is not finalized
The Ugly:
Unit can get lost for several seconds, sometimes needs a reboot.
Synopsis: If you are patient and understand the operation/limitations, this is a decent recorder for the $140 I paid for a factory refurb on Ebay.

WD is best
Nice product, WD seems to have a decent warranty on the hard drive.
Keep in mind that there is no warranty on the data you put on the drive
