I often re-string 4- and 8- (4x2) string...

I often re-string 4- and 8- (4x2) string basses to B-E-A-D, because I use the low B a LOT. I'll keep the G-strings in case I need them for another bass. I have a few 10-string basses tuned to B-E-A-D-G, and they sound awesome! For me, D'Addario strings are my favorite brand.

Worth its weight in gold-pressed latinum!!

This is the first bass that I have ever seen on which the fanning angles begin at the bottom of the neck and decrease as they go upward, but it works. It's a beautiful bass and is about as solid as a bass can get. Great tone, heavy but well-balanced. I could go on and on, but I don't have that much time in my life. This bass is worth what I paid for it. Trust me.

D'Addario Strings are my Favorites!

This .145 XLB145 bass string s my standard F# when I want to go lower than the usual low E or B. It has the right tone without overstressing the neck. I have 6 or 7 basses dressed to kill with these strings, and they can really howl when you want them to. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, D'Addario strings are my go-to strings - period.
