Checks All the Boxes for a Crop-Sensor Workhorse
Everybody loves the Sony A6500, mainly because it meets so many requirements for successful photography. The size is attractive to those of us who've bee lugging full-frame DSLRs with equally large lenses. So it's good for travel when there are weight limits. The quality of the images matches any crop sensor camera we may have had. The high ISO performance is good enough so that we can set aside low-light full-frame specialty cameras like the Nikon D3s or even the Sony A7s. And the focus is fast enough for action shots. The EVF quality is very good, and the IBIS is great to have. I often use the A6500 with the Sony LA-EA4 A-mount adapter, which includes the motor and gear drive for older Sony Zeiss and Minolta A-mount lenses that I already have. They focus just as fast as my e-mount lenses. I still get out the full-frames for extreme conditions, but the Sony A6500 is a well-refined workhorse.

Useful Gear that Looks Good
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. The Suunto Core is a great tool to have along if you're hiking or navigating off road and you need to have a compass and altimeter as well as a barometer. Plus it's a stylish watch in the blacked-out tradition of stealthy timepieces. For daily wear, I wish the display was a bit brighter, but then it wouldn't look as elegant.
NIKON, AF NIKKOR 70-210mm f/4-5.6 D, Macro Zoom Lens. Beautiful!

Sharp and Well-made Too
If you have a Nikon DSLR that does not need the focus motor to be in the lens, this lens is a very good value indeed. I use it on a D300s and a D700, and it delivers excellent sharpness, color and contrast for both the crop sensor and full-frame models. The construction is robust with a metal mount and the cost used is under $100 so it's a bargain, especially for full frame coverage. See Ken Rockwell's review for more details.
