AMD Laptop CPU Microprocessor A10-5750M AM5750DEC44HL 2.5-3.5GHz Socket FS1

A Great Upgrade for most 4xxx or 5xxx series APU equipped laptops.

A massive improvement over the AMD A4 it replaced. Ease of install will vary based on laptop model, but on my HP Probook 6475b access to the heatsink and cpu socket was as simple as sliding a switch and pulling off the bottom panel. The install process required the computer to be running in UEFI instead of legacy for the computer to boot, which required a reinstall of Windows 10. However, even with the factory bios version it is fully compatible with all features, including TurboCore, and scores very highly on benchmarks. It can even handle some light gaming with dual channel RAM, playing games like Team Fortress 2 and League of Legends fluently, and even newer titles like Overwatch in low settings. All in all, a worthy upgrade.

Still a killer card

So it's basically a pair of 280X's in crossfire on one card with double the memory. In my test of BioShock Infinite, even at Max settings at 1080p, and with virtual super resolution engaged, it still ran at 250 FPS or more. For the price, it's an excellent value.
