It's ok for the price

I bought this adapter because of its low price ($16 USD, with shipping) compared to others on the market. It mounts securely to the camera and holds the lens securely, but it is possible to over-rotate the Pentax lens on the adapter, making it awkward to remove. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the adapter lacks the electrical connection necessary for the body to know that a lens is attached. As a result, the adapter can only be used in un-metered manual mode, and not at all in video mode. This was a disappointment, as my reason for buying this camera was to use the high-speed video function with my family of Pentax lenses. I do not know whether adapters available from any other source have the electrical connections or not.
