This figure is a classic-inspired reuse of the versatile Skids mold. This representation of Crosscut fits in well with a Legacy collection, and pairs especially well with Kingdom Roadrage. Looks very nice in both modes and is easy and fun to transform.

Universe 2008 Roadbuster and Dirge
The 2008 Universe toy line brought the idea of classic Transformers characters getting modern toys to the forefront, continuing on after the surprise hit of the 2006 Classics line. While many characters got new, dedicated molds, Hasbro also pooled from other contemporary toy lines to reinvent other characters. Roadbuster and Dirge are examples of this. They are both redecos of Cybertron toys. As such, they retain many all of the original play features, of which there are many. What they lack in articulation compared to today's Transformers, they make up for in the amount of functionality they have, which can stimulate one's imagination just as well. While both characters have since gotten newer, more accurate toys in more recent years, these Universe versions offer a fun alternative look for them, as well as a way to experience the Cybertron molds for those who don't have Hotshot or Starscream. Certainly, both are recommendable at least for the novelty of the era they represent, even if the characters have been revisited.
