Good idea but bad design

This mount holder is a clip-grip type cell phone holder. The spring-loaded claw that holds the phone itself is attached to the ball joint that is mounted on a relatively thin plastic mount. This type of the design induces quite of shaking to the clip-grip claw with the phone inside. I have Alcatel One Touch Android smart phone that is inside of the protective rubber casing having 5/8" thickness. As a result while I was biking and traveling over some bumps that induced a lot of shaking to the claw, my phone came off from the claw and fell on the trail asphalt. Thank God my phone was inside the protective rubber case. I was very much upset with that event and instead sending back the holder for a refund, I Have modified the design of the spring-loaded claw so the phone will never jump out from the claw any more regardless of how much shaking the holder would go through. The attached photo will show my modification details. It took me about couple hours to complete the job.
