A great piece of retro gear!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. The Sony SL-HF400 is very flexible as it can play Beta 1, 2, and 3 tapes. It can also play the newer Beta tapes in stereo if they were recorded that way. It is a bit larger and heavier than newer VCR decks, but that is to be expected from any deck built in 1985! There are many bells and whistles for recording and setting the timer that I can't really speak to - I use it in my business to transfer analog recordings to digital. So I can speak to the quality of the audio and video on playback, and it is really good! It was professionally restored - great job too! It came with the manual, remote and some test tapes. I am really happy with this purchase...and I shopped around a lot!

I'm glad to find these ribbons...becoming rare...
I really like my Casio disc printer, but it is no longer being made, I have to use it with an old Windows XP machine, and the ribbon cassettes have gotten rare and expensive. So, eventually I won't be able to use it any longer. I am enjoying while I can...it's been a good product...

The only good aftermarket device to scan 110 film I have found...
This device is great. I was shocked to find as I searched for a new high quality scanner that none of them include frames to scan 126 or 110 film anymore. These were very popular formats, so I don't know why those wouldn't be included. And I have plenty of customers who want these old formats scanned and digitized. I search a lot and found very little aftermarket stuff that could solve my need. Then I found and purchased the DigiaLIZA - and it works well. It doesn't sit perfectly flat on my scanned glass, but it is close and does a fine job. Overall, It is built pretty well.
