Fantastic camera
OPTICAL Zoom is a wonderful 20x, about the same as 180mm for DSLR it seems when I compare, and wide angle is very good too. Lots of settings options if you get into it. Has great low-light capability even though f-stop is not super small, thanks to special modes which the camera can go to automatically or you can access manually. The ONLY marginal area is that the video does not auto-focus well at zooms of more than half-way, and at the highest resolution vid become a little blurry if you pan the camera too quickly. There is no manual focus for this camera in pic or vid mode.

Love these!
These brought my SG Custom to life! It has Seymour Duncan SH-1 and SH-2 humbuckers, which didn't have enough jangle and sparkle for me. Also, the clarity of the lows are "piano string".
