Metal Church THE DARK is ALL killer, no filler!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. The drums are recorded perfectly in analog and the drummer Kirk Arrington has some of the coolest double bass and drum riffs of any metal record ever. Every cut on the record is perfectly thought out, with cool production effects added (like in the songs Western Alliance, Psycho, and The Dark). The twin guitars have cool solo and harmonic parts that will also remind you of your other favorite bands of the 80's. The bass parts are heavy - and it's cool to have the bass player and drummer hold down a whole thrash and metal timing with the mid-range of the guitars and growling screaming vocals over the top end. You gotta buy this Metal Church THE DARK album when you get a chance and blast it to start your day!

Poorly written study guide before the authorized edition was published
This "study guide"was created before the official authorized 2021 edition of The Man Who Lived Underground, and contains superficial topical points without reference to details of the authorized 2021 publication of Richard Wright's novel.
It was poorly constructed with no in-depth analysis. Don't waste money on this "study guide" to The Man Who Lived Underground. By now, summer of 2021, there are plenty of reviews by scholars that dissect this important novel by Richard Wright thoroughly and thoughtfully.
