Lives up to the hype
Lives up to the hype. I have the Batis 25 and Batis 85 and the Batis 135 is sharper than both. Now I have a nice Batis trio.

Great walk around lens
Great IQ. Versatile Range. Good Build Quality. Solid and compact but not too heavy. This fits my kit very well. I am a photo enthusiast and my main body is the Sony a700. I now have the Sony 16-105, 70-300G, Tamron 17-50, Minolta 50 1.7, Minolta 100 2.8 Macro RS, and the Minolta 100-200 4.5.
Next is a back up body, and I'm targeting the a55.

Super Wide Angle Zoom
Replaced my 8mm fisheye and 12mm wide angle aps-c primes with this on full frame, wide and versatile but requires care with composition.
