Perfect replacement for my Ford 3600
0 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. The powersteering cylinder that came with my Ford 3600 tractor has a very small elbow that cracked under stress. It seemed a weld wouldn't be enough.
Thankfully this product was well priced and the old design flaw was fixed with a much beefier threaded elbow. It installed perfectly, works great, and is a perfect match for my power steering which still has the original cylinder installed on the other side. I will replace the other one if the same thing breaks with this newer design.
I gave the item four stars because a few days after installing the cylinder housing immediately began showing rust. It was an assumption of mine that the cylinder was at least primer coated with something resistant to corrosion. I had to remove the item, thoroughly clean it to repaint it and reintstall it. A shame there was no indication that painting was required for rust prevention.
I will buy again and recommend this to a friend.

Tied about 40 fly's with beautiful resin heads!
I bought this product to finish the resin heads on some fishing flys I was tying for Christmas. I made about 40 saltwater fly's with resin heads before this bottle ran out. Using only this product I was able to coat the heads generously. I layered each coat and then immediately cured it with a handheld UV light. I must admit the heads were a little bigger then what I wanted but it cannot be fixed now. This "ultra thin" formula is great because it spreads quickly when applied. If you are clumsy it may drip, but pay attention and using it is not a problem at all. I probably lost one drop because I was rushing. When it seemed the brush in the cap was no longer picking up any resin, I assumed the bottle was empty. I inverted the bottle to find there was less than 4 or 5 drops of resin still left in the bottle. I was able to use these drops to finish one last lure before throwing the bottle away. My only gripe is that it IS a great bottle and brush applicator and wish the manufacturer would advertise a larger "refill" bottle so that I could continue to use this one instead of throwing it away. Im sure there a "thicker" products out there that would compliment this one by finishing the heads faster but I didnt want to get too crazy with my process.

100 Fishing Fly's Tied
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I used this light to tie about 100 fishing fly's for Christmas. Upon arrival I loaded fresh batteries and began tying fly's. I took an average of 10 seconds each time I used it to cure a layer of resin. I'd say it might have been faster but I wasnt in a rush and took my time to tie. Toward the 50th fly I started taking longer to cure but not by much. By the end I was taking about 15 seconds to cure each layer. Using a rotary vise with this light made it very easy to finish the job. I never changed batteries once, and will probably change them now just because I have plenty. I know there are stronger lights out there but for the cheap price I paid it was well worth it. The design is short, and compact, the light is fairly bright. The unit is light and easy to handle. It stands on its lens for ease of use. It did roll off the table twice and did not break. I hope to use it for a 1000 flys to come.
