Excellent machine at a good price.
I started out looking for a "quick & dirty" DVD player to show sldes on my 23" monitor but as I was brousing I came accross the Sony BDP-BX57. It was attractivly priced and was rebuilt with all of the parts and instructions. I have a Sony Blu-Ray player that is about three years old and slow as molasses. I quickly decided to get the BX-57 to replace the old Sony and use the old one as the "not so quick and dirty" slide show driver. I can't believe how much time I was wasting waiting for the old machine to load or open the drawer. I'm very happy with the new machine's operating and visual performance.
