Great for kayaks

I bought this to keep our kayaks secure both on a rack in our back yard and while strapped to the roof rack of my Outback during transport. The 20' length is perfect to secure both my 12' yak and my wifes 10' yak together, with enough cable to run it through the rack. I have read some reviews where people stated the lock wouldn't work after a year or two. Even though it is weatherproof, brass tumblers can still corrode and dust can get inside the lock. I recommend spraying the lock with some penetrating oil, like PB Blaster or Fluid Film. WD-40 will work, just not as long lasting. Although I just recently purchased this cable lock, I expect it to last and work properly for a long time. After all, it is a Master Lock.
