Good phone, but new? Not sure. Beware network lock.
The phone itself is great, I primarily bought this for the free backup feature for Google Photos.
The package has clearly been opened before as the stickers on the side were yellowed and wrinkled, and there was no shrink wrap on the box, so it's hard to assess if this is truly a brand new phone. Battery life is not quite what I expected, but it's adequate.
The phone was locked to Verizon (for 60 days apparently) which I did not expect as I thought all Pixels were sold unlocked. I was able to remove the network lock by enabling developer options and using the Android SDK Toolkit, you can find a walkthrough for this on YouTube.
