Islands of the Damned by Burgin
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Decent read, more of an oral history and it reads that way. Certainly an interesting story and another perspective that would go along with "With the Old Breed" and "The Pacific" which both tell of similar stories from the same times and places. Always learn something new. Do recommend it.

Taking Fire by Alexander & Sasser
Unbelievable start to finish. Awesome story of a true warrior during the Viet Nam conflict. Very easy quick read. On the edge of the seat reading most of it. Laughed out loud multiple times. Shed a few tears. Really a great book. Strongly recommend.

Typical Tamiya quality, reasonable priced kit.
Fairly quick build, accurate representation of an early to mid war in Europe 105mm Sherman. There are better kits available but you pay a lot more money for them. This is a really good basic kit.
