  Very happy with my purchase of this GACX Airslide hopper from Athearn. The seller’s price was lower than is typically seen. It was only wrapped in an eBay padded envelope, but nothing heavy or pointed was dropped on it in transit, so it arrived unscathed and still in new condition. Still, one can’t have too many Airslides lettered for GACX considering that General American had as many as the top ten railroad fleets combined. I’m very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

  The Condition was described as “USED, BUT LIKE NEW, NO ASSEMBLY, BOX IS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED, KIT IS NOT”. The kit has been opened and the box was in obviously in a used shape; no problem with that. The problem is that someone had begun to put the kit together and had removed almost all the parts from the sprues. The delicate parts are loose in the box; some broke. Small pieces were outside the kit box. I doubt all the small pieces are there. I expected a kit yet to be started, like new in bad box.
