Satisfied with my Honeywell wireless outdoor temperature sensor
This Honeywell C7089R1013 Wireless Outdoor Temperature Sensor was a replacement for one that failed after about five years of use. The original was put in when we had a new heat pump installed in our house. That sensor had been installed where it was in direct sunlight many hours during the heat of summer. That might be why it failed after just a few years.
The purchased sensor was brand new and in its original packaging exactly as advertised. Two lithium AA batteries were included. The sensor was very easy to connect wirelessly to my Honeywell VisionPro thermostat once I read the thermostat manual.
Overall I am quite happy with the purchase.
