I bought strictly for the 12-digit display

With today's computer apps I don't see the need for a stand-alone calculator to plug into a computer, but at this price point, I bought a bunch of them to use as basic hand-held calculators with great 12-digit display stocking stuffers. Some arrived with iffy batteries and some needed a reset to function (reset easily done with a tiny port on the back). The lithium cell battery is easily enough replaced by undoing two screws and then carefully drawing a jeweler's screwdriver or sharp edge blade down one side of the case to cause two plastic clips to spread. Once the back of the case is off, carefully push out the old cell and replace with a new. Snap the case back together and go.

Sturdy, sharp, well made. Bought several more as stocking stuffers for next Christmas, as I'm big on giving useful items.

Great primary lithium batteries, long-lasting, don't swell up and leak!

Swapped out all my alkaline batteries a couple of years ago, have been using Energizer Ultimate AA and AAA ever since, see no need to go back.
