Streets of New York
The Darkness is a very unique tale. The lead character is a member of the mob who also has alien powers. The story is based in New York. The detail of the subway station and buildings are incredible. Your uncle has a contract out on you. You must get to him before he gets to you. I am enjoying it very much.

Torero
I became interested in reading about this torero, because of his unique way of fighting the bulls. Also, because Adrien Brody is in a upcoming movie based on his life. The book talks about three generations of Manoletes fighting bulls in Spain. And the consequences of Manoletes final fight with a Muira bull. It is not a large book, but is nicely written. There are many, many photos of Manolete (Adrian Brodys resemblence to him is incredible), and of a few corridas and Islero, the final bull he fought. The pictures are excellent and even show Manoletes final moments. An interesting read.

Columbian Cartel
This is a story about a woman named Griselda Blanco. Griselda, born to poverty, became one of the most feared drug dealers in Columbia and the United States. Nothing stood in her way. She was known as a black widow, as some of her husbands died, when she no longer needed them. It is a sad and brutal story. It is along the lines of the book "Murder Machine". Even worse since a lot of the deeds were committed or sanctioned by the Godmother herself. This story is told by a devoted DEA agent, who would stop at nothing to capture this elusive woman. A very interesting read.
