Versatile doll house hinges

I was anxious to pick up some small hinges for model making, but supplies were scarce or always just a little over the sizes I wanted. When I did run across the hinges for 1/12th models, I figured I had it made in the shade. The quality is great, the number of hinges in a packet will get me through a few projects easily, and these little hinges can be used for scale models of all kinds, small storage boxes, and even some things you might use in everyday life that need a hinged cover to protect a lens or secure contents. If you like making things with your own hands, keep a small supply (at least) of these hinges on hand, and when an idea strikes, you won't have to wait to find a source of supply.

One of my favorite historical subjects is ancient Rome, and I wish I'd had this book when I first began studying. However, even after years of gathering books on broad and narrow topics concerning Rome, I still find this tome substantially valuable. There will always be some gaps in our knowledge of antiquity, but this book will help plug many of them while weaving your way through questions about the expansion of Rome. It will also help your understanding of many aspects of non-military life throughout the long span of Rome's development and dominance of the known world.

"UHF" has Historical Significance.

Weird Al is not so weird... to me. He's a genius and he's doing what he loves most, which makes all his fans happy. When he started out doing music-parody, he made a smash with a rendition of "My Bologna" that was based on a hit song with a "very similar title". Soon he was doing music-parody videos that no one could resist, and when he made a motion picture ( UHF ) the crowds went wild. It is still one of the most popular comedies ever made, and not just with Yankovic's own generation. It's just a little difficult for younger kids today to relate to the idea of small TV broadcasting stations like UHF stations I knew of when I was a kid way back when. So, I guess you could even say that "UHF" is not only a great comedy... it's a historical documentary!
