Excellent pH controller for medium sized irrigation/or and hydroponics applications
A good controller for moderate volume irrigation and hydroponic systems. The local water is quite high pH, around 8.0-8.5, and this system does a good job of normalizing it to the 6.0 range. The setup is it controls a 55 gal drum reservoir, which is drained and refilled at about 10 gallons per day, which requires 50 ml of so of pH down solution (40% phosphoric acid). The dosing rate would possible be a bit slow for a larger volume of 1000 gallons plus or for higher draw rates, although I haven't tried it. The pH probe and temperature probe are both accurate and of high quality. Highly recommended.
