It does what Edimax said it does

I have a tablet from Asus which I have had for about 3 yrs. I just upgraded my router to AC but had no way to increase the speed of my wireless inside my tablet. I purchased the Edimax after reading a number of review from other sources. For the most part it got decent reviews. You always can't believe everything and some people just have bad luck like me most of the time. However I followed direction by installing the driver, I have windows 7, plugged in the Edimax. It found the SSID I put in the code and away it went. When I checked my speed it was an astounding 856 mbps. The fastest I ever got was 300. I use it all the time with my tablet now and run on the 5GHz band. I have since checked the speed using different software programs and the speed was incredibly close to 856 mbps. I highly recommend the Edimax dual band receiver. The only down side is the antenna sometimes its difficult to lift it up so I just leave it in that position but I feel I made break it by accident.
