Quick and Dirty

As large and cheap covers go, these are just fine. The big size easily covers the largest dinner plates or casseroles, but don't mistake them for being airtight. They are not really designed for transporting food either. They are great for refrigerator storage under a week, and reheating in the microwave under 4 mins regular heat. You have to treat them fairly gently so you don't tear the plastic or the elastic band. Hand-washing them isn't too bad, but be sure to rinse well. The soap can get caught in the many folds. Also, you have to hand-dry them with a towel, or air dry them by spreading them out on a towel tree. That can become a space issue. They are what they are ... quick, convenient, inexpensive, and disposable. A pack easily should last you a year under moderate use. Great for those without lid-lust - Yeah, that's a thing.

Solid, Simple, Stainless Value

Opted for stainless instead of sterling or plate for heavy-duty seafood/hors d'oeuvre use. These are simple, solid, and maintain their sheen over time (much better than Charlie did). The knife/spreader was a nice bonus. This set is a combo of good price and durability, both of which are getting harder to find.
