Illustrations are Great
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Stephen King's compelling story telling keep you hooked the whole way through. The illustrations are numerous and well placed within the text - and add to the experience. The narrator of the story, Devon Jones, reflects on a summer from his youth when he worked at an amusement park, Joyland. Yes, there is a ghost, but the story is really about Devon coming of age in the early 70s on the east coast and an unsolved murder.

Great accent chair
The color in the picture is very close to the actual color. The chair we received was well made - no flaws in the fabric, all the seams looked good with tight stitching. The seat height is normal for this kind of armchair, with a generous amount of space (side-to-side and front-to-back). The seat cushion is nice and thick. The back of the chair is on the short side - as you can see. I found this product to be a good value, and would buy again.

Great sound and performance from exterior grade speaker
I bought these speakers because I was looking for a big sound in an outside environemnt, and I have been disapointed in the typical small outside speakers. The 6 1/2" woofer in these acoustic suspension cabinets really deliver a nice sound with plenty of bass. I have them hooked up to a high power old school receiver (Pioneer SX-750, 55 watts per channel) and they can play very loud without distorting - however at loud volumes I had to watch how much bass I added. The speakers sat outside the first year for about 6 months with out much protection from the elements and still look and sound great. Yamaha has moved on to a new series of outside speakers, so you can only find these used or as seconds. List price new was $199, and used pairs go for less than $100 here on eBay.
