Very Nice Phone but Some Negatives
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. It is easier to use than I expected and the Car Play interface is much better. The Apple Iphone 7 Plus I replaced did not allow for use of the GPS program WAZE. This interface does include WAZE. The center button of my old phone is still missed but it was a high breakage item so once you learn to use the phone without the center button it will be better. The negatives for me that keep the product from being a 5 star review is that it seems that Apple deliberately changed the camera lens position to vertical rather than horizontal. If you have a shock resistant cover for the 6, 7, or 8 plus it will not fit the camera lens opening for the 10 MAX meaning you have to buy a new cover or cut the hole larger in the old cover. The power off reset button was changed for some odd reason. Now you have to press the side button and the up volume button and then press the down volume button to reset. This was done to allow easier access to SIRI. To me these items could have been left alone.

Garmin DriveSmart Sync Cable
Did not realize my DriveSmart 70LMT came with a power cable and sync cable in the box and by accident I must have thrown the original sync cable away so I could not update my GPS. I ordered this new cable and it arrived promptly and works perfectly. Updated maps and traffic points have now been loaded on my Garmin DriveSmart 70LMT.

This Garmin Lacks Basic Standards

This product like many others show items you are searching for in all directions meaning that most gas stations/motels or restaurants that are found may not be in the direction of travel. There should be an option to search in direction of travel. This product does not offer to pin the home address. That over sight makes the device vulnerable if stolen and the thief can easily enter your home address. Overall the product is very good and I like it but it has some basic flaws that mean I would not purchase again. The very basic internet GPS program Waze allows a search using the name of the business and the location town and state. I believe Garmin needs to improve the program to be safer and more usable or it will not be competitive with basic internet GPS programs.
