Reliable solid throttle, feels good in the hands!
CH Products are reliable. In all my research trying to figure out what throttle to get, I never once stumbled across a quality control complaint. Many other products have breaking points, if they last longer than 3 years your doing well. CH isn't like that. In fact, the biggest problem with CH is trying to find a non-gameport version because the gameports are still around. They have been working that long!
The smaller nob on the right side is what I use for thrusters in various games. It feels extremely smooth and precision made. If Xbox or Playstation made their sticks like the nob on this throttle, people wouldn't put their controllers down. That's right, I'm typing this with throttle in hand because I can't let go! The nob has a slight bit of slack in the middle, not enough for a human to notice but enough for a computer. Fortunately the CH Control Manager makes it easy to set dead zones.
CH Manager Control Software allows for easy calibration, can create deadzones and control the overall sensitivity, as well as create custom profile maps. Any hat/button push can be registered as the key you want it to. The software is easy to use and doesn't take much to setup/calibrate your device.
