Best Al Around Ultra High Performance Tire for the Fastest Coupe and Sedans for the Money...
After buying two sets of these Michelin pilot PS to high-performance tires, I now can properly review them for you. They are surprisingly compliant, very quiet on bumps and reflectors compared to some of the other high-performance brands, which helped me come to the conclusion that these are some of the best overall high performance,tires in the sport/luxury category, for the money. Handling is crisp, no squealing in high lateral maneuvers, quiet on many of Houston’s broken roads, and they look fantastic on any of these Luxury/Sport cars to boot.

Truly an American Icon of Design, even if Jon Ive is British, he is our American now! Just the overall design execution, nuances that go unnoticed by most but contribute to that overall brand and design. Truly stunning are the sharp yet rounded edges, the keys that kick back at just the right touch, springing forward your fingers into flowing continuous motion. You won’t know what I am talking about (you might even say uugh, what a Apple slob), buy it and you will see the differences once you unplug your aluminum Apple keyboard and wirelessly connect a similar but totally upgraded and perfected version. New they retail around 179.00 with the numeric keypad, I bought this one that was flawless for 60 delivered. That is probably the most amazing thing about this review is the quality I received for the price I paid...

Michelin Track Tires for My CLK500 Mercedes
The moment I saw these Tires by Michelin, I looked for the price, which basically was 25 cents on the Dollar. I immediately purchase a complete set of 4 and I now regret it terribly. I should have purchase 3 complete sets of 4! Seriously, when you run across a deal like this one, you gotta strike when the iron is hot. I tried 2 weeks after my purchase-sold out!! I should have known! These Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 track tires are original equipment on 4 or 5 of the most serious handling cars out there. When I saw I could put them on my CLK500 V8 Coupe, I had to have them. They are no surprise the most aggressive handling tire I have ever owned. What did surprise me was the incredible difference in my ride quality. With the soft compound, I now just float over reflectors and small bumps as if they are not there. Another surprise, because I had prepared myself for them to be very skittish in the rain, was just how good they felt in the rain. Sure footed and planted for most of the water on the road, only getting a hair uneasy when the rain became torrential. So, to sum it all up- incredible price at $97.00 a piece! Normally they run $468.00 a piece for the 255/40-17 size. Free shipping just made it a no brainer. And to top it all off, I even received an additional 30 dollars off as a rebate. Michelin, on my Mercedes, track tire for the price of a Walmart tire. It really did make my car feel like a track car, the handling and cornering capabilities put a good handling car into a great handling car category. Even if I can’t find this price ever again, I am stuck on the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire for this car.
