Compelling Florida Historical Fiction
I was born and raised in Florida. A Land Remembered tells a story about life and the times of true pioneers that I’d never really understood. I lived in Orlando from 1949 to 1970, so I knew the Old Florida when orange groves and agriculture were the mainstays of the economy. But to go back to the days when most was forest and pioneers scrapped for meat and food while clearing enough land to build meager housing was fascinating! The story writer is phenomenal! It is a must read!

Incredible
This book came highly recommended to me, and I was not disappointed. The story of Henrietta Lacks and her family is unforgettable...and the scientific aspect of this true story is absolutely incredible!
