Great watch!

Got it because of the atomic timekeeping and because of the resin band. A little less dressy than a metal watch but still just as durable, and it gets atomic signal pretty easily (I have others that look pretty cool but it's hard to get it to receive signal). This is the best of both worlds, and it's solar on top of all that so it'll never need a new battery! G-Shock as well so suuuuuper durable!! :)

Almost Perfect

I'd been looking for a replacement to my 8150 (which finally bit the dust only a few years ago, after serving me for almost a decade and through several classrooms. I wanted to be able to print tabloid, and this does that. I can even dedicate one of the paper drawers to that size paper so I'm not manually feeding sheets through! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is HEAVY...depending on the model you're around 140 pounds to almost 170. It took two of us to even lift it off the ground, so have a very sturdy location in which to put it or get the rolling cart thing that can go underneath. It does take it a little while to warm up (read: be ready to print) so if you can put up with the weight and that you'll have a workhorse printer that will serve you for years.

Overall pretty good

I originally bought this watch because I thought it was comparable to the 1500, and overall I don't mind the way it works. It has the atomic timekeeping, which was a feature I wanted, but it doesn't have the tidal markers, or the moon phases which was a nice touch on the other model. The last issue I have is a ticky-tack one, one not everyone's going to care about but whatever. :) It shows EITHER the day or the date, not both which I tend to prefer. But the readout is nice and big, even I can see it without glasses! So overall pretty good, except for a few minor things.
