Gotta Love Marissa Meyer

You're going to love this book! Marissa Meyer is one of the best of the best in my opinion. Her books, although targeted for young adult readers, appeal to everyone who picks them up. "The Lunar Chronicles" had me from page one (and I am a grandmother and great grandmother.) In "Heartless" you would almost swear she had conversed with Lewis Carroll in another time and place to look into his mind as she gives us this compelling back story of the Queen of Hearts. Well written. Loved it. I will always have a copy of her books in my library to share with my family and friends.

Great novelty item

This little drum set is very cute. It is exactly what I needed as a prop for my new puppet show. However, it is not something I would let my grandchildren play with. It is all plastic and looks great put together, but one good shove or an enthusiastic drum roll and it would be broken. I would recommend it as a prop or decoration, but not as an instrument for kids to play with.
