Good buy--works well; no need to keep it plugged in, since it uses replaceable batteries.
4 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. Pro: it's operated by replaceable batteries (AAA cells) rather than by a rechargeable battery; once the rechargeables stop taking a charge, you have to scrap the whole unit. With this one, just replace the batteries.
Con: the two-speed switch is a little hard to operate: if you want to use the lower speed, you slide a switch to the first "click", but it's hard to get it just right and you (or at least I) often slip past the first one to the second stop. Not too big a deal, but getting the correct stop is a little tricky.

Good book for beginners or intermediate practitioners of the big lift.
Good photos of how to do the exercises correctly without damaging your joints. Divided conveniently into sections for working legs, abs, arms, back, etc. Some suggestions for exercise regimens for people who want a two- three- or four-day routine. Doesn't tread any particularly new ground, but it's solid in some basic common-sense weight regimens.

No-knot tailpiece helps achieve traditional clawhammer sound.
The no-knot setup does not press down the strings behind the bridge as much as the standard tailpiece, and thus gives a somewhat more mellow tone than the standard tailpiece on my old Vega Whyte Laydie.
