It is too thin and floppy to use over a pot that is as wide as its maximum diameter. If you did use it over such a pot, the cover would fall into the pot defeating the purpose.

Great item, but too heavy for my needs.
Its very well made.
But its heavy, too heavy for what I was looking for.
Too bad for me because I do like it, but its just too heavy.
The idea is great, its really tough-made and will last a very long time
with minimal care, but its just too heavy for what I need.

Its a good product. Super granular settings so you'd better really be "up" on configuring routers.
