great replacement for a costly part

These seem to be perfect replacements for Mercedes OEM radar/blind spot monitors. I replaced both of mine and the system works (2011 M ML350). I am disappointed with the original manufacturer and/or Mercedes for a product that lets water/salt in and then corrodes. When these go bad, not only does the Blind spot not work, but the corrosion wreaks havoc with the computer system. While installing these I have tried to completely reseal the outside. When I say these aren't a good value, I understand the price is the price and you can't buy them anywhere else so I can't really complain about fair or not. However, to have to pay 300 - 400 for each sensor, then another 100 for a new wiring harness seems like too much.
