Excellent Ebony Bridge
This bridge is 1/3 the cost of bridges of similar quality. The difference is it came from China. In terms of time that made no difference. The compensation is cut perfectly. Do your own string notching and away you go. I swapped my rosewood bridge and found a real improvement in the sound and intonation on my Kentucky mandolin.

Gretsch G9126 is a Pleasing Little Instrument
This little guitar ukulele is tuned like a requinto, (up a fourth from standard tuning). Don't expect it to sound like a high end instrument. On the other hand it has a tonal charm of its own. Wide neck, so maybe not so good as a child's instrument. But easily fits small-medium sized adult hands. I am guessing the wood is a laminate. But it appears to be open pore. Pleasing overall look. The nut and bridge saddle are plastic. The nut can catch your fretting hand when playing down the neck. So you have to get used to that. I plan to switch the saddle and nut for bone when I get a chance. The intonation is good all the way up the neck. The instrument is shipped with Aquila nylgut strings. Overall it has pretty decent response, with the ability to have tonal variation in the hands of a trained player. Overall I found the instrument to be a great deal. It's probably pretty stable for travel, and a nice little thing to have around for practice, or for use in situations where you want low volume. I suspect ti would also mike up pretty well, although I have not tried that yet. It's sturdy, well made and a definite good addition for the playing situations I mentioned above.

SolidProtection
The case fit my Kentucky KM-172 perfectly. The lock and l=hinges appear good, and the case is an overall good value for the price. I recommend it for "A" model mandolins. May work for mandolas too.
