They were received securely packaged, in new condition, and fit the steamer in accordance with the appearance and description in the listing.     Item was cancelled 5 days after I ordered it. Seller was only willing to sell if I bought more product which was mentioned in the bottom description but where you can order at the top it allowed me to do so. I had to place an order with Herrschner's instead.

Eureka 313A Stick Cleaner and others An Overview
I bought my Eureka 313A steamer previously-enjoyed on eBay. The squared edges make it good for cleaning in corners but it is a bit difficult to maneuver in smaller spaces. Moving it slowly enough to get the dirt and to sanitize properly is the key. Every other month I use my homemade spray/wipe cleaner directly on the floor (NOT in the steamer tank!) and then the steamer to deep clean. I offer hand-knit cloths for these and other steamers on eBay and have had many helpful conversations with other eBay members about their steamers. Some hints are: use only distilled or low-mineral content water, drain it after every use, let it cool down completely before putting it away, store the tank cap away from the steamer to guarantee the tank stays empty and dry during storage. So far my 313A is working and cleaning fine with use about 3 times a month. When I bought the steamer I ordered two replacement parts for the area where the handle connects to the base because I had my Homeworks 311 and my old Eureka 310 break at the handle. The first model 300A which I also have still works fine and does not seem to have such a fragile connection as do its successors. It is concerning that I see so very many Eureka 313A steamers for sale on eBay in the aftermarket. Why? Is it because they were tried a few times and the owners were dissatisfied? I have some anecdotes from eBay members to indicate this. They were ready to send their new steamers back for a refund because they were dissatisfied with the cleaning result given by the pads. They tried my hand-knit cloths and kept their steamers. All in all, the concept of steam cleaning floors and other surfaces is an excellent one. The cloths/pads that come with these steamers need some considerable improvement. Manage your steamer according to the directions that come with it and try my hints to make it last longer. I also have a ProSteam 3001 which works very well on a regular basis.
