Laptop sits in a weird position on the dock
The docking station works as advertised, but I was a bit disappointed to see that the laptop (Latitude E5450) does not sit flush with the dock's forward-facing surface. Further, the laptop's front edge is sitting on the desk surface, meaning that when docked it is at a slight downward angle. This caused me concern that the connectors on the dock and the laptop were being "torqued." The docking station appears to be made to accommodate different laptop models, some with the data connector at the rear of the computer (as with mine) and others with the port more "inboard."

Nice little phone!
It was time to upgrade from my iPhone 6s Plus, as I was running into compatibility issues. I wanted something smaller this time around, and this iPhone 13 mini is certainly that. With Apple's elimination of the Home button, however, the screen size on this "mini" is almost as big as that on my old 6s Plus. I wasn't about to spend the money on the latest-version iPhone, and I zeroed in on the model 13 as being the best mix of price and modernity. "Refurbished" is definitely the way to go...my phone is indistinguishable from new. $289 is a lot easier to swallow than $1100-1200 for an iPhone 16. As a bonus, the iPhone 13 uses the Lightning cable, of which I have multiple examples. Didn't really want to have to replace all of them with USB-C cables (as I would have had to do with an iPhone 16). Guess I'll be stuck next time around, however...which I hope won't be for at least 5 years.

Nice solution!
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Great little unit. It lets me run digital audio through my 1992-vintage receiver. I didn't realize it requires power, but the cord is USB and my TV has spare USB ports. As a result, I didn't have to run another messy power cord to a wall outlet.
Build quality is good and you can't beat the price. Thanks!
