Fantastic-Looking Model!
Putting this kit together is NOT an issue. It's straightforward and fairly easy. The directions are simple enough. That being said...if you want it to look right, you'll need to paint it. And this model is chock FULL of tiny details, so you'd better have a steady hand! I wasn't crazy about the water slide decals; they're extremely fragile, and didn't stick very well at all to the signs. I'm going to create my own, actually. The sides of the building fit together fairly well, but a couple didn't line up perfectly, showing some gaps.
I went ahead and primed all of the pieces and painted the ones I could ahead of time. I detailed all of the windows on each panel before assembly, and it worked out well. I'm NOT the best painter in the world, but I'm happy with the way this turned out.
The end product is a very realistic-looking, beautiful model.

Classic Cussler!
It's a shame that the movie adaptation was an epic failure, because this is one rockin' book! Clive spins this one as only he can, to the point where you have a vivid image of the Titanic coming back to life and finally completing its maiden voyage to New York harbor!
Highly recommend reading this one, if you're a Cussler fan, or even just a fan of Titanic lore. You'll enjoy it.

Awesome Model!
